The Campos brothers are recognized throughout the world for
their continuous improvement of hulling and shelling operations, earning an
industry leading role as one of the world's finest natural almond processors.
It begins with trucks delivering almonds from all over
California to our state-of-the-art facility for initial cleaning, hulling and
shelling. Once shelled, almonds are routed with close monitoring through
additional separators, electronic and manual screenings, and sampling stations
to remove foreign material and assure customer satisfaction.
A series of electronic, laser and manual sorting stations then separate almonds
by size, eliminating any with defects or poor color. Testing and grading
laboratories recognized for their technical excellence let us provide a level
of quality control that exceeds every standard established by the United
States, the California Department of Food and Agriculture and the European
Union.
